The Buccaneers I considerd myself a bit of a loner, a lone wolf with my own wolfpack. But when I founded the Buccaneers , I knew I had found other members of my wolfpack, where there was one of us there was now ten. And then I met you guys and I thought, could it be? And yes, now I know that there are many members of this wolfpack.
The Buccaneers rugby team was a drunken idea that acctually happend....the idea represents everything that a 7s rugby team should be. It’s a team of friends from prem clubs throughout Scotland who play hard, fair and with passion. who beside giving everything for their team always enjoy a beer or two afterwards. Win or lose we are on the booze. One mission, one team, one love. |

Lasswade RFC
Lasswade RFC currently plays in National 1 and is looking for another promotion this season into Premier rugby. In season 2009/10 we also had a trip to Murrayfield winning the national shield final in a cracking game of rugby against Greenock Wanderers. The club fields 2 senior XV teams and are looking to build for the future with a 3rd XV or potentially a development 2nd team. We have good ties in the community with 2 feeder high schools making up a large majority of the senior players and have some ties further afield with welsh, Irish and French counterparts.

Shark Kings The Shark Kings return to Edinburgh 10's after a great run in the 2010 tournament. The team features players from St. Andrews University as well as some well-known players in the Edinburgh club scene. They have had great success in the past at Ma Bells 7's and we're sure they will challenge hard at the Edinburgh 10's. |

Stray Dogs
With an average age of well into the 30's the Dogs are going to have to rely on experience to get them through this years tourney. With the seemingly immortal Malcolm 'The Swordsman' Clapperton at the helm leading the charge and continuing to slice through everything that gets in his way, both on and off the field, I am sure they will make a good account of themselves. The Stray Dogs is made up of retired and a few current Edinburgh club players and have had guys from Australia, Tonga, New Zealand, Ireland, England and Scotland play for them since they started in 2001.
