Invitational select P.Blackhall Ltd will be coached by Scotland Internationalist Phil Godman at this years Edinburgh 10's. The side, featuring players from Edinburgh, is making its first appearance as a rugby squad under the leadership of Stuart Blackhall and captain Andy Hadden.
Other Edinburgh and Scotland players, including Dave Callam and Ally Hogg, will be making appearances on the day. Ian 'Mighty Mouse' McLauchlan, a former British Lion, will be presenting the Dunedin Cup and Auld Reekie Plate.
Back from Afghanistan and into the Edinburgh 10's!
Edinburgh 10's is absolutely delighted to announce that the 1 Scots RFC (1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland) are entering a team in the tournament. Over 120 soldiers have only just returned from Afghanistan where they were based in Taliban strongholds such as Wishtan which is also known as 'The Devil's Playground'. When they left this April, after seven hard months and considerable sacrifice, the local population and security forces had freedom of movement around their town; the markets, shops and schools had reopened and life was returning to normal in Wishtan, without the Taliban.
The 1 Scot have a strong history in rugby circles and have had recent success in the Army Cup. Come down to Raeburn Place to support the soldiers and see them play!
New Production Company to film Edinburgh 10's!
Chris Bain Video Productions will be filming at the first Edinburgh 10's Rugby Tournament. Footage both on and off the pitch will be filmed throughout the day. Chris Bain commented:
"Chris Bain Video Productions is proud to cover all the action and entertainment at the Edinburgh 10's Rugby Tournament. We look forward to seeing everyone there and make sure you come and say a few words to the camera on the day!"

Free Day Pass at Westwoods Health Club for Spectators!!
Edinburgh 10's is delighted to announce the support of Westwoods Health Club for the inaugural tournament. The club, which is located in the grounds of Fettes, offers a wide range of facilities including a gym, swimming pool and sports hall.
All specatators who pick up a free Edinburgh 10's programme will receive a free day pass at Westwoods. We would like to thank the health club for their enthusiasm and support.

Edinburgh 10's is delighted to announce the first foreign team to take part in the tournament. The Joburg Kings, traditionally a 7's team, will be coming to Edinburgh to challenge for the Dunedin Trophy. This is great news for the tournament and everyone involved.
We will shortly be announcing more teams who are signing up so keep checking the website. More details about Joburg Kings and their players will be revealed soon.

Ardrossan Accies and Hamilton Rugby will be taking part in the tournament. Both teams will be bringing young, competitive teams and we are looking forward to seeing them in action! It is great to see more club teams from Scotland taking part and this will be an ideal opportunity to see what these clubs can offer and how they are developing the talent in the west of Scotland.

Edinburgh 10's is pleased to announce that four more teams have signed up for the tournament! Shark Kings, PBlackhall Ltd and The Stray Dogs will be entering invitational teams made up of players based in Scotland, whilst Stirling County will be entering their club team. Details are on 'The Teams' page and player profiles will be revealed shortly.
Stuart Blackhall of PBlackhall Ltd said; "We are proud to enter an invitational team to support the Edinburgh 10's, the players, all local Edinburgh club players, have been hand picked by PBlackhall Ltd especially for this tournament."
Nikki's Outside Catering Prepared for Edinburgh 10's!

As some of you may have already noticed on the website, Nikki's Outside Catering have kindly agreed to come on board for Edinburgh 10's! Andrew Fowler, proprietor of Nikki's and a former player at Stewart's Melville FP, commented;
"Nikki's Outside Catering is delighted to be catering for the first annual Edinburgh 10's tournament. As a player myself I know the importance of keeping fuelled throughout a day's rugby, so we hope we can satisfy both players and spectators alike with fresh, nutritious food served all day. Edinburgh is a fantastic venue for this kind of competition and I hope it attracts a variety of teams and proves a real success for years to come."
